Locksmith service across Salt Lake City, day and night.

From a Sugar House bungalow to a downtown high-rise, we come to you with the tools and parts to finish most jobs in a single visit: home and car lockouts, rekeys and new locks.

Around the city

Salt Lake, neighborhood by neighborhood.

The Avenues and Capitol Hill

Some of the oldest houses in the city, many still fitted with original mortise locks and skeleton-key interior doors. We repair and rekey vintage hardware where it’s worth saving, and add modern deadbolts that suit the door where it isn’t.

Sugar House and Yalecrest

Bungalows and Tudor-style homes from the 1910s to the 1930s, alongside the newer apartment buildings that have gone up near the S-Line streetcar.

Downtown and Central City

Condos, apartments and offices near the core. Many buildings have a front desk or fob-controlled entry, so mention it when you call and we’ll plan the visit around it.

Rose Park, Glendale and the west side

Post-war family homes, plenty of them still on the locks they were built with. After decades of keys handed out to relatives and sitters, a rekey or new deadbolt is an easy win.

The East Bench and University area

Rentals near the University of Utah change hands every semester, and landlords call us to rekey between tenants. Families up on the bench call about smart locks and garage entry doors.

9th and 9th, Liberty Wells and Ballpark

Older homes, many split into duplexes or upstairs and downstairs units, where owners and tenants each need their own set of working keys.

Getting to you

A short drive down from Bountiful.

We’re based just north of the city in Bountiful, so Salt Lake is close: down Beck Street or I-15 into the north end of town, then out to your neighborhood. When you call, you get an honest arrival estimate based on where you are and what traffic is doing.

Parking garages and big lots are part of city life, and so are car lockouts in them. If you’re stuck at City Creek, the Gateway or a garage near your office, tell us the level and row so we can walk straight to the car.

Valley winters are hard on locks, too. Deep cold during inversion season stiffens old lubricant, and freeze-thaw cycles can shift a door until the deadbolt no longer lines up with the strike. Most of the time that calls for an adjustment, not a new lock.

Salt Lake City questions

Asked by city callers.

Do you cover the whole city?

Yes, every Salt Lake City neighborhood, plus the cities that border it, like South Salt Lake, Millcreek and Holladay. If you’re out toward the edge of the valley, call and we’ll confirm.

Can you work on the old locks in a historic home?

Usually. Original mortise locks and old front-door hardware can often be cleaned, repaired or rekeyed instead of replaced, and we’ll tell you honestly what’s worth keeping.

I rent my apartment. Can I have my locks rekeyed?

Many leases require the landlord’s approval before locks change, and the manager usually needs a key. With their go-ahead, we can rekey and leave a copy for them.
