Lockouts we handle
Whatever door you’re stuck behind.
House lockouts
Front doors, back doors, garage entry doors and deadbolts. Call, and we’ll get you back inside quickly.
Apartment and condo lockouts
Locked out after the leasing office has closed for the night? We open your unit door and, if your lease allows it, can rekey it on the same visit.
Office and storefront lockouts
Arriving to a locked shop before opening, or closing up and realizing the keys are still inside. We get you in so the day isn’t lost.
Broken key in the lock
A key snapped off in the cylinder is a lockout of its own. We pull the broken piece out, check the lock for damage and cut you a working key.
A lock that won’t turn
Worn pins, a failed cylinder or a deadbolt that jams halfway. We open it, then tell you plainly whether it needs a repair or a replacement.
Locked interior rooms
A toddler who locked the bathroom, or a bedroom door that latched with the pet inside. We get those doors open fast.

What to expect
From your call to an open door.
You call
Tell us where you are and what’s locked. You get a price for the job and a realistic arrival time before anyone drives out.
We confirm it’s yours
Before opening anything we ask for an ID or something else that ties you to the address. It protects you as much as it protects us.
You’re back inside
We get you in quickly, so the lockout costs you minutes of your day rather than hours.
You decide what’s next
If the keys were lost or stolen, we can rekey right then so they no longer work. If they’re just inside on the counter, you’re done.
While you wait
A few things worth knowing.
If anyone is in danger, such as a child alone inside or a stove left on, call 911 first. Police and fire crews can get through a door faster than any locksmith, and we’re glad to repair the lock afterwards.
Check the easy ways in before you call: a back door, a garage keypad, a roommate or neighbor with a spare. We would rather save you a call-out than charge you for one.
Be wary of lockout ads that quote a tiny price over the phone and then double it once the door is open. We give you a price when you call and confirm it before any work begins, so the number doesn’t change on your doorstep.
Lockout questions
Before you call.
Can you make a new key while you’re here?
In most cases, yes. We carry key cutting equipment, so for a standard house lock we can usually leave you with a working key, and a spare, before we go.
I rent. Can you still let me in?
Yes, as long as you can show the place is yours to enter, such as an ID with the address or a copy of your lease. Changing or rekeying a rental’s locks is a separate question, so check with your landlord before asking for that.
How long does it take to open a door?
Once we’re standing at it, most house and apartment doors take minutes. The bigger variable is travel time, which we estimate honestly when you call.
